Information Use means taking the information you've gathered and DOING something with it--reading it, highlighting it, cutting and pasting it, making notecards with it--so you can select the parts you need to create your project.

It should be a deep-thinking, hard-concentrating kind of step as your brain works to study the information, decide what part(s) of it match your task (Step 1), and think toward the final project (Synthesis--Step 5).

 

 

 

Sometimes it's best to do this step in a quiet environment so you can really focus.
