Synthesis is creating something new from bits and pieces of information you've found. It might be a research paper, an oral presentation, a brochure, a video, a multimedia presentation....any product you create yourself from the information. When it comes to creating a large project or writing a major paper, it may mean that you have lots of bits and pieces of research that you need to put together to create something that is uniquely YOURS!
